Out of Hours Patient Questionnaire (OPQ) Back to top

The OPQ is designed to help Out of Hours care providers to improve care and services offered to patients. The questionnaire was developed following work undertaken with the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (PCMD) and the University of Manchester.

OPQ looks at the three call types: home visits, treatment centre and telephone advice. Any combination or all of these services can be surveyed at any given time. The questionnaire focuses on key elements of the patient experience pathway from access through to post consultation.
